Small Tree of Life
Morris Dahan was born in Tsfat, a unique small town in northern Israel. Morris was born to an immigrant family from Morocco, the seventh child to a family of eight. Since his childhood he was drawn to the arts and to painting in particular. The atmosphere of Tsfat, rich in Kabala and mysticism, profoundly influenced his artistic development. The themes of Dahan's works are significantly influenced by Israeli culture, philosophy, the bible and his family’s Moroccan history and culture.
