Tallit Size Guide
Our tallits are measured width x length.
It is important to understand that the width of the tallit is the area between the edge with the collar and the edge opposite the collar. The length measurement is the area from one edge with the fringes to the opposite edge with the fringes.
Choosing a tallit size is generally based solely on personal preference.

If you are looking to wear your tallit wrapped around the back of your neck and hanging down the front of your torso, then you would want a 20” x 80” tallit.
20" x 80" Tallit:

If you choose to wear your tallit folded up over each shoulder with the tallit hanging down the length of your back, then you would want a 50” x 80” tallit. If you are choosing a wool tallit and are over 5’ 10” in height, you may prefer a 60” x 80” tallit.
40" - 60" x 80" Tallit:

Anything between a 20” and 50” width can also be ordered. If you measure from the nape of your neck down your back and find that you would like something in between those two widths (the width is what determines how far down your back the tallit will hang), you may decide you want a 40” x 80”, for example. 20” x 80” and 50” x 80” are our most popular sizes by far.
